The Lusaka Contemporary Art Centre was delighted to host children from the International School of Lusaka

ST PATRICKS GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL
A school visit on November 1, 2024, by St Patricks Girls Secondary School to the ‘Viable Visions’ exhibition featuring the works of Martin Abasi Phiri. The experience allowed students to engage with contemporary art and explore its impact.

RHODESPARK SCHOOL PTA SCHOOL VISIT / WORKSHOP
The Lusaka Contemporary Art Centre hosted 3rd children from Rhodespark School PTA for a visit / Workshop spanning two days on June 17 and 18. The workshop explored the world of linocut and silkscreen printing. Using natural materials like banana stems and leaves, they created unique patterns and learned about Zambian artistic legends, Lutanda Mwamba and Henry Tayali including figures like Alice Lenshina, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe and Edward Mukuka Festus Nkoloso.
