Theatre Tribe, a collective of performers from various disciplines at the University of Zambia, made their debut at LuCAC on November 1st, 2025. Their artistic cohesion and shared purpose set them apart immediately. The evening centred on a series of individual poetry pieces and live instrumental performances on violin and guitar, all building toward the main act, Faultlines, a work of remarkable intellectual and emotional depth. Rooted in Christian Danielewitz’s 2024 installation, Faultlines explores the social, economic, and environmental consequences of resource extraction in the Copperbelt.
The programme opened with remarks from Victor Mutelekesha, founder of LuCAC and MC for the evening. Guests were then treated to a range of performances, including:
