YOUNG ARTIST AWARD CALL OUT
With no set theme, young artists can submit their applications in a wide range of media: painting, photography,
etchings, drawing, collage, graphics, sculpture, pottery, printmaking, mixed-media – all are acceptable. Whereas, if an
applicant is capable of providing technical equipment required for showcasing video, film, performance and
conceptual art forms, the Competition would be open to accept these forms of art with prior arrangement and
approval by the organisers.
The application should include a brief biography, photocopy of ID (NRC/ Passport) and a short write-up on artwork
(400 words max), the nature of the work, and idea behind the artwork. For application form, call or email Lechwe Trust
Art Gallery. Artists may submit up to a maximum of five of what they consider to be the best representation of their
portfolio.
