The International School of Lusaka’s primary school Children had a great time at the Lusaka Contemporary Art centre where they took time to explore and learn about Art in the ongoing exhibition Prospice Kwacha!
Art plays a vital role in children’s early development. Art activities develop brain capacity in early childhood, it supports the development of cognitive, social-emotional, and multi-sensory skills. As children progress into primary school and beyond, art continues to provide opportunities for brain development, mastery, self-esteem, and creativity. The process of creating, exploring, discovering, and experimenting has great value for young children.
The Lusaka Contemporary Art Centre focuses on nurturing emerging talent by encouraging self-awareness, respect, tolerance, and critical thinking.
